There are many excellent reasons to get yourself more than one domain name. Now that domain names can be up to 57 characters long (actually, you CAN register up to 67 characters, but there are technical reasons why you should stick to 57), you can create some very effective domain names. You may have heard the saying, "keep it short and catchy", and that is true for a domain name that is going to be used in marketing materials. However, search engines have no problem with long domain names, IN FACT, if you create a good name, loaded with keywords appropriate to your website, you can exponentially increase your website traffic!
Some search engines rank search results taking into account whether the search keywords were matched in the domain name. So a search for "ottawa dog grooming" would match with sites having those keywords. However, if you had the domain name "ottawa-dog-grooming.com", your site would be listed at the top of the list! The name is yours to keep, and is registered by you, in YOUR name, there is NO fine print here! (If it is a .ca or .uk name you want, we apply a discount of $29.95 to your fees.)You will be responsible for the renewal and payment of fees for that domain name come the end of the initial registration period.
Simply enter your desired domain name in the search box at the top of the page and proceed through the process, on the order form you will be given the chance to select the hosting package you desire, and your credit will appear on the invoice prior to payment processing!
